2 Souls Buried By Zamboanga del Norte Landslide

MANILA, Philippines -- A man and a child were buried by a landslide Monday morning in Barangay Panampalay, President Manuel A. Roxas, Zamboanga del Norte, a police report said. Inspector Dhalan Sammudin, spokesperson of Police Regional Office 9, said the body of 53-year-old Rudy P. Tagad has been retrieved but nine-year old Nelly Joy A. Del Pilar remains missing. Samuddin said the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Committee of Roxas said the landslide happened around 10:10 a.m. after a heavy downpour. InterAksyon
