The head of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency said on Friday she hoped Pope Francis' upcoming message to his flock on the environment would help galvanize concern about climate change and convince sceptics that "the science is real". EPA administrator Gina McCarthy, visiting the Vatican to discuss climate change, said U.S. President Barack Obama shared the pope's belief that it was a moral issue because its effects would be felt most by the poorest and weakest nations. Both see a mutual advantage in teaming up on the science of Global Warming - US to enforce its regulations and laws on society and the Vatican to cover up the real reason for the increased natural disasters.

The reality is that sin causes natural disasters. We are punished for our sins.
Both Washington & Rome do not believe in sin do not believe in God.
This is the reason why Washington & Rome team up.
Some deluded souls will ignore the increased natural disasters because they refuse to believe in Global Warming. This is a mistake. Men are to be punished for over 35 years with all types disasters from plagues to famine to earthquakes to storms to even animals falling out of the sky.....many will start to see the bizarre events are not the result of Global Warming but sin.
