Tennessee State Of Emergency Raised To Level Two With 22 Deaths



KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Winter weather overnight has impacted roads, power and debris. The Tennessee Emergency Management Agency (TEMA) says power outages are expected to increase today as more counties report. Governor Bill Haslam took TEMA's recommendation of updating the State of Emergency to Level II Saturday. This means the area could receive state and federal assistance. Some of the hardest impacted counties are Fentress, Cumberland and Overton. There have been 22 confirmed weather-related deaths during the State of Emergency, TEMA reports. Read More>>>>>>
