An eight-year-old girl from Queens, New York, has died from the flu, police confirmed. The unidentified girl was diagnosed with the flu on Sunday and being treated for the virus but was experiencing difficulty breathing Monday morning. She was found unresponsive when officers arrived at her home and police said her parents tried to perform CPR but was pronounced around 6:30am at the hospital. She is the second pediatric flu-related death in New York and one of more than 53 children who has been killed by the virus that is devastating the US during one of the worst flu seasons in recent history.  Source
